Paperwork in one place, gaps in the list
Documents tied to the student record in one place. A document the school marks as required shows in the list when missing; you decide who can see it.
The student file keeps a student's documents tied to their record: enrolment papers, parental consent form, medical report, contract; the school defines the types. The school decides which types are required; if a required document has not been uploaded, the student shows as missing in the student list. At the start of term you know from one list whose paperwork is missing.
The visibility of each document is chosen separately: open to the whole school, or seen only by the staff member who uploaded it. Documents sit on the student's page, in the same place as the meeting record and the inventory report.
Document types belong to the school
The school defines the document types and which of them are required. When a type is marked as required, tracking of what is missing starts by itself.
Missing paperwork list
Students whose required document has not been uploaded sit in one list. Collecting paperwork at the start of term comes down to closing a list.
Visibility document by document
Each document is open either to the whole school or only to the uploader. A sensitive report stays with the uploader; enrolment papers open to all staff.
Common questions
Who decides which documents are required?
The school. The school defines the document types and marks which of them are required. When a type is marked as required, tracking of what is missing starts by itself: students without that document sit in one list.
Do other staff see a document I upload?
As you chose. Visibility is chosen document by document: open to the whole school, or seen only by the staff member who uploaded it. A sensitive report stays with the uploader; enrolment papers open to all staff.
