Occupations that fit you, with the reason
Your profile is compared with the occupation and programme catalogue; next to every suggestion is a match rate, and underneath it, which of your answers produced that rate. You can explain for yourself why one programme ranks above another.
Matching compares your inventory results with the profiles in the catalogue of occupations and university programmes and ranks the ones that fit you by match rate. The rate is not a score but a distance: how far your profile overlaps with the profile that occupation or programme expects. You read the list separately for occupations and for programmes.
No suggestion comes out of a black box. On every row you see which inventory, and which part of your interest distribution, feeds that suggestion. Your strengths and development areas sit next to the suggestion; you can explain for yourself why one programme is at the top and one occupation is near the bottom.
Matching with occupations
A separate match rate is calculated for every occupation in the occupations catalogue. You narrow the list to the fields you like, open an occupation and read what a day is like and which education it requires.
Matching with programmes
The same calculation is done separately for university programmes. You see a programme's match rate, what is studied there and which occupations its graduates go into, on one page.
Where a suggestion comes from
Under every suggestion is the measurement that feeds it: interest, competence, work values or cognitive profile. When you dislike a suggestion, you can find which of your answers produced it.
International classification
The classification of occupations and programmes is built on the ISCED standard. Because programmes abroad are matched with the same classification, you see a programme in Türkiye and its counterpart abroad in the same list.
Common questions
Can I see why I got a particular suggestion?
Yes. Under every suggestion is the measurement that feeds it: interest, competence, work values or cognitive profile. You also see which part of your interest distribution produced that suggestion. When you dislike a suggestion, you can find which of your answers led to it.
Are occupation matching and programme matching the same thing?
No, they are two separate calculations and two separate lists. One rate is calculated for every occupation in the occupations catalogue, and another one for university programmes. The two are linked: from a programme's page you go to the occupations its graduates enter, and from an occupation's page to the programmes that lead to it.
What is ISCED for?
ISCED is the international classification standard for occupations and programmes. Because the catalogue is built on it, a programme abroad falls into the same class as its counterpart in Türkiye; you see the match rate for both in the same list.
